Minister of Social Solidarity Ghada Wali announced a 10% increase in pensions as of early next July in implementation of the Cabinet's decision.
"The new increase will be added to the total value of pensions till July 30, 2014 and it will cost the government eight billion pounds a year," the ministry said. Around 9 million pensioners would benefit from this increase. |
