Minister of Finance Hany Qadry Dimian said Egypt is moving steadily to establish the state of law and justice, and for such purpose the new budget allocates EGP 22 billion for health and education, in addition to some measures that were taken for the structural reform of the budget.
The Minister pointed out that 55% of the new budget's allocations would go to protect the low income brackets. Dimian's remarks came during his meeting with ambassador of the European Union in Cairo James Moran who congratulated the Minister for achieving the country's road map especially the drafting of the new constitution and the presidential elections ahead of the coming parliamentary elections. |
