“The Egyptian Armed Forces will provide subsidized products and will run its public transport buses fleet starting July 7,” Armed Forces official spokesperson Mohamed Ghoneim said on 6/7/2014.
Minister of Defense Colonel General Sedqi Sobhy issued on 6/7/2014 the decision to offer subsidized goods for citizens at all Armed Forces’ wholesale outlets. By offering subsidized goods and providing mass transportation, the Armed Forces seeks to control prices, lessen citizens’ burdens, prevent monopoly and ease transportation. |
