Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukri inked a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the director general of the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) to establish cooperation in the field of agriculture and food security in Africa.
This comes within the framework of Egypt's keenness on boosting cooperation with the African countries in different domains. The MoU will come into force once it is signed and it will be effective for three years after which it can be renewed, according to a statement issued by the Foreign Ministry on 8/7/2014. |
