Transport Minister Hani Dahi said on 11/07/2014 that the Port of Alexandria's returns jumped this year to 1.26 billion pounds with a net profit of 370 million pounds.
The minister made the remarks during a press conference at the port. Minister Dahi stressed the need to increase the annual returns of the port, denying discount on tariffs for Chinese companies. He held a meeting with navigation officials at the port. The minister dismissed reports on raising prices of Metro tickets after the increase of fuel prices. He pointed out that the ministry has no intention to raise the price of metro tickets. |
