Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab made a visit to Luxor on 12/7/2014 where he inspected several projects.
He also inaugurated a new solar energy plant in Luxor. The new plant generates 100 kilowatts/hour with total cost of EGP 3.8 million. The premier was accompanied by a number of ministers including the ministers of housing, petroleum, trade and electricity. He also toured the control center of the camera system project in the governorate, which aims at securing and monitoring Luxor's antiquities and streets. The project comprises 150 surveillance cameras that work 24 hours a day, in addition to a number of cameras which are installed in and around the temples and archeological sites. |
