Egypt's bourse indices recorded collective gains at the end of Thursday's trading, amid intensive purchases by foreign investors.
The market capital gained about 3.6 billion pounds to reach 501 billion pounds, amid transactions that hit about 1.3 billion pounds. The EGX 30 benchmark index went up by 1.04 percent to 8,826.28 points. The broader EGX 70 index of the leading smaller and mid cap enterprises (SME) increased by 0.91 percent to hit 628.22 points. The all-embracing EGX 100 index rose as well by 0.83 percent to close at 1,108.77 points. |
