Minister of Fisheries Wealth Awad al-Socotri met separately with ambassadors of Egypt, Algeria and Eritrea to Yemen.
During the meetings, al-Socotri discussed with the ambassadors the areas of cooperation between Yemen and each country of them in the fish sector. Al-Socotri affirmed the importance of the establishment of the Arab Council for Fisheries based in Yemen to contribute the development of joint cooperation and the coordination of Arab positions in this field. The ambassadors confirmed the importance of boosting and expanding the cooperation in the fisheries fields between their countries and Yemen so as to serve the mutual interests and achieve the optimal exploitation of fish wealth. |
