The Ministry of Finance announced the continuation of the reduction of total deficit in the State budget by EGP 15.5 billion to hit 93% of the GDP to record EGP 1,894 billion in 11 months of 2013/2014 FY against about 117% of the GDP in 2012/2013 FY, which hits about EGP 2,049 billion.
In its monthly report, the ministry unveiled an increase in the sovereign revenues to hit about EGP 3,378 billion which equals 166% of the GDP against about EGP 2,713 billion that equals about 155% of the GDP. In addition, the expenses reordered about 256% of the GDP to the tune of EGP 5,197 billion against about 271% to the value of EGP 4,743 billion. |
