On a visit to Russia, Industry and Trade Minister Mounir Fakhri Abdel-Nour conveyed a verbal message from President Abdel-Fattah El Sisi to Russia's Valdimir Putin.
At a meeting with Putin's Foreign Policy Adviser Yuri Viktorovich Ushakov, the trade and industry minister stressed Sisi's keenness on boosting economic ties with Moscow. He said Egypt is willing to secure all Russia's needs of foodstuffs and agricultural crops, the Trade and Industry Ministry said in a statement. Ushakov expressed gratitude to Egypt's stance toward Moscow. President Sisi is highly appreciated by the Russian political leadership, topped by Putin himself, Ushakov said. During his visit to Russia, Abdel-Nour attended a forum organized by the Russian chamber of commerce and industry and the Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce. |
