President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi has said that Egypt is aware of all regional issues and everybody knows its vital role in the region.
In an interview with Saudi Arabia's Okaz newspaper, Sisi said "Egypt has a clear and specific vision as well as pre-studied priorities." He called upon all Arab states to boost their mutual cooperation and maintain their integrity to protect their peoples from different hazards. Meanwhile, Sisi stressed Egypt's support for the Libyan people and government, saying that Libya's security is very necessary for Egypt. Answering a question on the possibility of sending Egyptian servicemen to Libya, Sisi said, "We will not interfere in Libya's domestic affairs." At the same time, Sisi stressed the importance of coordination and cooperation with Sudan. "Both the Egyptian and Sudanese peoples cannot live without each other," he stressed. Speaking about the situation in Egypt, Sisi said "the Egyptian youth are capable of overcoming all obstacles and accomplishing achievements." He also called upon the Egyptian people to work hard to ensure a better future for Egypt. |
