Petroleum and Mineral Wealth Minister Sherif Ismail has witnessed the signing of a contract on implementing a new project to produce asphalt at a 660,000-ton-capacity per annum.
The project will be executed at the Suez-based refinery and aimed to produce 400,000 tons of asphalt as well as 260,000 tons of solar every year at investments amounting to $50 million, said the Minister. The new project is an important one either to the industry of oil refinery or to mere supplying the asphalt material that is highly demanded within the framework of Egypt's developmental and urban enterprises nationwide, said the Minister. |
