Arab League Secretary General, Dr. Nabil Elaraby has welcomed the formation of the new Yemeni government, and considered it as a positive step towards overcoming its turbulent stage.
In a press statement of the Secretary-General's office, Elaraby hailed the national efforts of President Abdo Rabbu Mansour Hadi along with the Premier Khaled Bahah and all the political forces who cooperate to form this technocratic government. He expressed his hope that the new government would be able to get out the great challenges facing Yemen in the various political, security, economic and humanitarian areas, calling all the Yemeni political forces to obligate to implement its commitments stipulated under the Peace and National Partnership Agreement. The Secretary- General also warned against any attempt to disrupt the political process in the country or working to undermine it, showing the Arab league's solidarity with the leadership, government and people of Yemen in order to come out its difficult circumstances. |
