Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD and CEO of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, DEWA, has welcomed Hisashi Michigami, the new Consul-General of Japan in Dubai, and Fuminori Takaoka, Consul, Economic Section.
The meeting was part of DEWA’s efforts to promote closer ties with visiting diplomatic missions. During the visit, Al Tayer welcomed the Japanese delegation and wished the Consul-General all success in his new role. He provided an overview of DEWA’s role, activities, progress, and the continuous development in its services. He emphasised DEWA’s keenness to strengthen cooperation and coordination with Japanese energy companies, and expand it further for the benefit of both sides. The Japanese Consul-General commended DEWA’s efforts to support the sustainable development of Dubai, praising the facilities and services it provides for Japanese companies operating in Dubai. He noted that the visit paves the way for a new stage of fruitful cooperation with DEWA. |
