Presidential spokesman Ambassador Alaa Youssef said President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi held a meeting on 3/2/2015 with a delegation of IBM Company under Virginia Rometty, the CEO of the company.
Present at the meeting was Minister of Communications and Information Technology Atef Helmy. Sisi welcomed Rometty, voicing aspiration to promote cooperation between the Egyptian government and the giant IBM in the field of information technology. The President expressed hope that IBM would increase the number of projects it was carrying out in Egypt. For her part, Rometty said the company is seeking to enhance cooperation with the Egyptian government and institutions. The company plans to increase the volume of investments in Egypt and double the number of employees working in the country. |
