Egypt is opening its market to investors, Investment Minister Ashraf Salman said on 26/02/2015, noting that legislative reforms will be introduced to investment-related laws.
Salman's remarks came during a meeting with British Minister for the Middle East Tobias Ellwood on the sidelines of London's Telegraph Middle East Congress. The government is easing restrictions on private companies, Salman said, underscoring the importance of the UK as an economic partner. He also held meetings with economic investors operating in the fields of energy, petroleum, transport, infrastructure and construction with the purpose of informing them of the investment climate in Egypt as well as the government’s efforts to overcome challenges and facilitate procedures. |
