The body monitoring the decisions and commitments affiliated to the Arab Summit has submitted a comprehensive report on following up the implementation of the last Arab Summit decisions, to the upcoming Arab Summit which will be held in Sharm el Sheikh on March 28-29.
The body's meeting was held under the chairmanship of Kuwaiti Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Khalid al Hamad al Sabah. In his speech during the meeting, the Kuwaiti foreign minister underlined the importance of this body as an Arab mechanism to follow up the implementation of decisions and commitments related to the Arab Summit. He also pointed out to the efforts exerted by Kuwait, in its capacity as the chair of the summit to follow up the implementation of the decisions. Kuwait also led Arab ministerial delegations to visit a number of Arab countries, including Iraq, Lebanon and Somalia, he added. |
