Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation Salah El-Din Hilal said that 26 Egyptian and Arab companies will start reclamation of 670,000 feddans within the framework of the one-million feddans project.
The Minister pointed out that this comes after the companies have signed agreements and cooperation protocols with the Ministry of Agriculture during Egypt Economic Development Conference, which was held in Sharm El-Sheikh last week. Hilal added that the number of Egyptian companies hit 16 taking over 200,000 feddans while the number of Arab and foreign companies reached 10 companies taking over 470,000 feddans. |
