The Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry is organising the UAE-Belgium Business Forum at The H Hotel on 26 March on the side-lines of a strong Belgian economic delegation headed by HRH Princess Astrid, Representative of H.H. The King of the Belgians, during their visit to the UAE.

The forum, organised in cooperation with the Embassy of Belgium in the UAE, comes as part of Dubai Chamber’s efforts to enhance bilateral and trade relations and to explore two-way investment across key economic sectors including food industry, transport and logistics, aviation, tourism and trade for Dubai and Belgium businesses.

During the forum, participants will be able to identify potential areas of opportunities and the frameworks which drive growth and contribute to a favourable business environment, whilst networking with key industry peers.

Additionally, Dubai Chamber will be signing two Memorandum of Understanding (MoUs) with the Federation of Belgian Chambers of Commerce, Arab-Belgium-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce and Brussels Enterprises Commerce & Industry as well as another MoU with the Voka-Antwerpen Waasland Chamber of Commerce.

The forum will have a welcome remark by H.E. Hisham Al Shirawi, 2nd Vice-Chairman, Dubai Chamber, a keynote address by H.E. Pieter De Crem, Federal Secretary of State for Foreign Trade, Belgium, and presentations on Business Opportunities in Belgium by Johan Beerlandt, Chairman, the Arab-Belgian-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce and CEO of Besix and one by Dubai Chamber on Dubai Economy: Prospects & Outlook.

The Belgian ministers attending the forum include H.E. Didier Reynders, Federal Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Affairs, H.E.
