Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy Dr. Mohamed Shaker opens on 31/05/2015 the first phase of the urgent plan through adding 1,707 megawatts to the national power grid by operating 18 fixed production units and 20 mobile units in Cairo, Upper Egypt and Sinai.
Chairman of the Egyptian Electricity Holding Company Eng. Gaber El-Desouky said that Egypt will witness this week big additions to strengthen the national grid and secure energy for citizens. El-Desouky pointed out that this comes within the framework of the urgent plan, which was implemented in cooperation with General Electric and Siemens companies. |
