Finance Minister Hany Qadry said that the government is working very hard to accelerate the achievement of an economic take-off to be reflected positively on citizens’ standards of living.
In a statement on 05/06/2015, the Minister said that the government, since beginning of the current year, has prepared a package of financial and economic policies with the purpose of enhancing economic activity, supporting social protection, achieving financial stability and reducing the budget deficit. Qadry noted that the Finance Ministry, for its part, has applied a financial program with the aim of re-prioritizing the public expenditure through reform of energy rationalization system and expansion of the tax base. The Minister made clear that the government is currently continuing intensification of its efforts and resources to develop and raise efficiency of public services. |
