GCC Foreign Ministers on Sunday evening held a coordination meeting ahead of their joint meeting with US Secretary of State John Kerry, which will be held at Sheraton Doha.
HE Foreign Minister Dr Khalid bin Mohammad Al Attiyah chaired the meeting, which was attended by GCC Secretary General Dr. Abdul Latif bin Rashid Al Zayani. The GCC-US meeting is to discuss a number of important regional issues, including the nuclear deal between P5+1 and Iran, signed on July 14 in Vienna. The meeting is important as it will discuss political and security issues, and in view of the role played by the GCC countries in the world as well as their influence in regional and international politics. |
