The economic ministerial group on 15/10/2015 held a meeting under Prime Minister Sherif Ismail to discuss negotiations between the Egyptian government and the World Bank (WB) to get a three-billion-dollar loan from from 2016 till 2017.
The meeting discussed the pricing plan for the domestic market and measures adopted to control the market. They discussed plans to expand logistic areas in which goods are packed and distributed to cut the costs of commodities. Also, the ministers considered supporting the electricity network to meet the country's needs of energy during the 2016 summer, spokesman for the cabinet Hosam Qawish said. The meeting covered the details of the flows of money needed to carry out new projects before the summer, the spokesman said. |
