Board Chairman of the Egyptian Businessmen Association Hussein Sabbour the third round of meetings of the Egyptian-Greek Business Council held in Athens witnessed several meetings between Egyptian and Greek businessmen to discuss cooperation between the two sides and joint investments.
In a statement issued in Cairo, the association said the visit of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to Greece and his meetings with Greece and Cyprus counterparts were preceded by several meetings of the businessmen of the three parties.
Chairman of the Egyptian side at the Egyptian-Greek Business Council Hani Berzi co-chaired the meeting.
Egyptian exports to Greece hit 840.7 million Euros against Greek imports hitting 755.6 million Euros.
The Egyptian Trade Representation office in Athens said Greek investments in Egypt hit 3 billion Euros in oil, gas and banking sectors.
As many as 145 Greek companies invest in Egypt in industry, services, constructions and touristic projects.
