Egypt is keen on achieving comprehensive development in the Upper Egyptian governorates, President Abdel Fattah El Sisi said.
Sisi considered his inauguration of a fertilizers factory in Fayyoum as indication of such stance. The factory, whose production capacity hits 150,000 tons annually, is located at El Nasr Company for Intermediate Chemicals in Fayyoum. The Armed Forces finalized the establishment and operational processes in only one year and a half and this asserts the State's keenness on meeting the needs of residents in the Upper Egyptian governorates, he reiterated. President Sisi said he would launch the project on reclamation and cultivation of 1.5 million feddans, most of which in Upper Egypt, as part of the development process in the area, he said. Normal working rates would not be efficient at the current stage, Sisi said, stressing the importance of hard work. |
