The President of China Xi Jinping, along with a high-level delegation, arrived in the Iranian capital on a two-day official visit upon an invitation of President Hassan Rouhani, official media reported.
The Chinese Leader's trip to Tehran is the last leg of his three-nation round, which included Saudi Arabia and Egypt, according to Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA). During the visit, about 17 documents for cooperation in economic, industrial, cultural and judicial fields are scheduled to be signed in presence of the two countries' presidents. The visit is the first by a Chinese president to Iran in 14 years. |
