Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) raised the dollar bank deposit limit for exporting companies to $1 million a month, according to a statement issued.
The sum of deposits, in dollar or other foreign currencies, should be equal to requests of imports sought by exporters, said the CBE statement. The new decision is meant to control markets and foreign trade, it said. |
