On the sidelines of his participation in the African Forum of trade and investment held in the city of Sharm el-Sheikh, PM Sherif Ismail met with Mr. Albert Fulcher, the managing director of Schneider Electric in Egypt and north-east Africa.
During the meeting, the prime minister expressed his appreciation for the projects implemented by the company in Egypt, which are in favor of priority projects of the Program of Action of the government, pointing out that the existence of many of the giant projects could contribute to the company during the current period, such as the new administrative capital and development of the Suez Canal. Ambassador Hussam Al Kawesh said that PM Sherif Ismail stressed during the meeting on the importance of the draft the Solar Energy which will be implemented by the company in the city of Sharm el-Sheikh to generate 50 mega-watts in the field of electricity production, which is a necessary element for the industrial sector to be productive, he also expressed his aspiration to promote cooperation with the company in the field of manufacturing components of those projects, and emphasized to all measures to accelerate its implementation. From his part, the managing director of Schneider Electric in Egypt and North East Africa praised the support received by the company from the government and officials of the city of Sharm el-Sheikh in the implementation of the projects, explaining that he is currently being further procedures for determining the allocation of territory to a station for solar energy, which will allow the clean energy and offer plenty of fuel used in generating electricity. |
