Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities Mostafa Madbouli said request for proposal will be available on April 22 for more than 500,000 social housing units.
Bid requirements should be bought from post offices and branches of the Housing and Development Bank as of 22/04/2016, the minister said in a press release. The unit's price will be paid in installments over 20 years by the real estate finance system, read the statement. The minister said that over 100,000 units are in the pipeline and would be offered in 24 governorates, while 400,000 others, scheduled to be completed within a year, would be offered in 27 governorates on May 1. |
