Visiting Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi on Wednesday said that his country is seeking to bolster trade exchange with Iran after signing a host of agreements. Renzi made the statement during a meeting at the Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture. For his part, Iran's Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade Mohammad-Reza Nematzadeh said that his country had started work on promoting ties with Italy even before concluding a nuclear deal with the West. He added that eight of the 30 agreements signed during Rouhani's visit to Italy in January are being implemented, he said. Today, representatives of the Italian government and the private sector and members of the Iran chamber signed 12 agreements covering cooperation in energy, steel, communications, airports and air navigations, medicine and clothes industry. |
