 President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD)Sir Suma Chakrabarti said the bank plans to boost cooperation with Egypt in the coming period after approving it as a fully operations' state.
During a meeting with Egypt's International Cooperation Minster Sahar Nasr in London, Chakrabarti added that his coming visit to the country would be an opportunity to launch EBRD's first strategy related to Egypt, and to discuss projects planned to be funded by the bank during the next phase. Nasr is currently paying a visit to the British capital to chair Egypt's delegation to EBRD's annual meetings. She said that EBRD has invested about Euro 1.7 billion in several vital sectors. |
