 Egypt's Trade and Industry Minister Eng. Tarek Qabil and Cameron's Minister of Small and Medium Enterprises, Social Economy and Handicrafts Laurent Serge, who is currently visiting Egypt, signed a 5-years memorandum of understanding (MoU) on developing the small and medium enterprises sector.
Minister Qabil said that this agreement prepares for a new stage of economic cooperation between the two countries. He added that it creates a framework for technical, scientific and technological cooperation in the field of small and medium enterprises. For his part, Cameron's Minister of Small and Medium Enterprises, Social Economy and Handicrafts Laurent Serge stressed his country's keenness on developing and strengthening deep relations with Egypt. On other hand, Soha Suleiman, Secretary General of the Social Fund for Development (SFD) received a high-level delegation from Cameron led by Minister Laurent Serge. The meeting tackled enhancing strategic cooperation in the field of small and micro enterprises and exchange of experiences with the fund in this respect. Suleiman voiced appreciation for opening new horizons of cooperation in the fields of small projects, which could provide several job opportunities for young people in both countries. |
