Investment Minister Dalia Khorshid said that a specialized Chinese water desalination group is looking forward to pumping investments in Egypt.
This came during a meeting held between Khorshid and a delegation of the Chinese group to discuss projects to be executed in Egypt by the group during the coming period. The Chinese giant plans to implement four projects in Kafr el Sheikh, Cairo and Fayyoum governorates based on the BOT system, she asserted. The four projects include the establishment of three factories for waste recycling with a total production capacity of 3800 tons daily and another factory for water desalination with total production capacity of 50 cubic meters per day. The total cost of the four projects is one billion dollars paid in installments over four years. For her part, Khorshid asserted that the government is working on facilitating all measures required to attract investments from different countries, especially from China. |
