 Electricity Minister Mohamed Shaker selected 136 companies to produce 4,300 megawatts from solar and wind sources.
The move came during his meeting with investors in renewable energy sector and companies that were rehabilitated to implement the projects. He also reviewed the new business rules and government's financial guarantees for the investors as well as companies' calls to increase their investments in this sector. The companies were selected from 187 Egyptian and foreign firms that put out their tenders. |
