 Minister of Trade and Industry Tarek Qabil held an expanded meeting with representatives of the ministries of foreign affairs, international cooperation, transport, and electricity to discuss the status of projects that will be implemented in cooperation with the Chinese side.
The Chinese projects, which are under negotiation, aim in the first place to improve services in many villages and cities in Egypt and creating job opportunities, Qabil said in a statement. The minister added that government's commitment to supporting investment projects through improving the business climate has boosted confidence of investors from across the world in the Egyptian market. The meeting comes as part of preparations for President Abdel Fattah El Sisi's visit to China in September to take part in the G20 summit, Qabil noted. |
