 The board of the Export Support Fund (ESF) agreed on the new rules of an export support program, that will be enforced as of 1 July 2016, Trade and Industry Minister Tareq Qabil said.
During an ESF board meeting Monday, Qabil said the new rules aim at developing the applied program to reflect the current economic policies and transition into a new phase focusing on the growth and emergence of a new generation of small exporting factories. One of the basics of the program is the export infrastructure that includes providing support to navigation lines (Russia-the Dead Sea / Italy-Europe / Mombasa-Tanzania / West Africa), he said. The meeting was attended by Finance Minister Amr el Garhy and Tourism Minister Yehia Rashed. |
