 Prime Minister Sherif Ismail asserted that Egypt is stable and has a strong army, a firm judicial system and an effective parliament.
"We should maintain gains that were achieved and build on them for the future of present and future generations," Ismail told a meeting with members of the Egyptian Union for Investors Associations in the presence of the ministers of trade and industry, finance and investment along with representatives of bodies concerned. The Premier stressed that the government will not give up economic reforms that go in parallel with networks of social protection for low-income people to ensure providing all needed services for them. He said that the State is going on in reforming the systems of customs and taxes, stressing that stable taxing policies offer privileges that serve investment. Ismail said that support will be continued to investors in the sector of tourism. Ismail said that the private sector is a key partner in development operations and it is part of the labor system. "The State is interested in developing this sector to be able to achieve targeted rates in implementation of the economic plan," he said. |
