Minister of Public Sector Affairs Ashraf el Sharkawy met president of Mitsubishi and its board members to discuss means of mutual cooperation in the field of upgrading public sector heavy industries.
The meeting was held on the fringe of the sixth conference of the Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD), currently taking place in Kenya, a statement by the ministry indicated. The two sides tackled Mitsubishi readiness to provide technical training for workers and modern techniques to upgrade a number of factories in Egypt. They also touched upon the upgrading project of Egyptian iron and steel company and Mitsubishi willingness to enter a tendering process to upgrade the company . |
