 A high-profile Russian security delegation arrived for talks with officials at the Aviation Ministry.
The Russian delegation is due to make an inspection tour around Cairo airport's departure and arrival halls to follow up security measures and check on modern devices installed at the airport. This comes as part of a plan to develop the security system at Egyptian airports. The four-member Russian delegation has arrived in Egypt through Rome due to the suspension of flights between Egypt and Moscow, security sources at the airport said. Also, the Russian mission will hold meetings with officials at the Aviation Ministry to follow up recommendations demanded by Russian authorities before resuming flights between Cairo and Moscow, the sources added. The several-day tour will include a whole follow up to all arrangements for securing and searching passengers, luggage and goods. |
