The Ministry of Investment said it has mulled over a study by China's Safbon group to establish a factory in Kafr el Sheikh for garbage recycling and power generation.
The initial investments included in the project will hit dlrs 200 million, the ministry said in a statement. A meeting on this score was held at the Ministry of Investment where representatives of the ministries of investment, environment and electricity and Kafr el Sheikh City Hall along with the Chinese side took part. The Chinese delegation reviewed with the Egyptian officials details of the project that aim to recycle daily around 1,500 tons of household waste. |
