Minister of International Cooperation Sahar Nasr will lead Egypt's delegation to the annual meetings of the World Bank in Washington set for October 7-9.
During her stay in Washington, the minister will meet with a number of officials of the World Bank and International Finance Corporation (IFC). She will also represent Egypt to the Meeting of the Intergovernmental Group of Twenty-Four on International Monetary Affairs and Development (G-24) as well as the World Bank Arab governors' meeting. Nasr said her meetings with the WB officials will focus on cooperation in the projects to be funded by eight billion dollars, including six billion granted by The International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) along with two billion investments provided by IFC. She will present the Egyptian government's program to achieve a promising development plan and realize social justice and the achievements made over the past few months. |
