Manpower Minister Mohamed Saafan said a loan worth 12 billion dollars approved by the International Monetary Fund (IMF) to Egypt reflected the international confidence in the national economy.
Paying an inspection visit to Bala'em Oil Company in South Sinai, the minister added that Egypt needs all citizens to work for increasing production at the current stage. Saafan said the fresh economic decisions taken by the Egyptian government will contribute to providing opportunities for investment, reducing budget deficit, increasing growth rates, reducing unemployment and providing jobs for young people. The minister told the workers that the country is going through difficult economic conditions that require taking some measures to achieve a real economic reform after such measures have been delayed for 40 years. |
