Dubai Trade, the single window for cross-border trade and smart trading solutions, has announced the integration of the online services of Trakhees, the Department of Planning and Development and part of Ports, Customs and Free Zone Cooperation, PCFC, and Dubai Trade’s secured e-payment gateway, Rosoom.
Trakhees joins other major organisations that use this service such as DP World, Jebel Ali Free Zone, Jafza, National Industries Park, Nakheel and Imdaad. The collaboration comes as a result of an agreement signed between Mahmood Al Bastaki, CEO of Dubai Trade, and Arif Obaid Al Dehail, CEO of Trakhees, in the presence of officials from both sides. Mahmood Al Bastaki said, "We are delighted to strengthen our collaboration with Trakhees, which offers commercial licensing, environmental, health and safety and civil engineering services. This will help us develop Rosoom by opening doors to new markets and businesses and making it one of the best e-payment gateways for smart trading in the UAE. Rosoom has seen more than 7 million payment transactions earning over AED 5 billion since it was launched in 2008." Arif Obaid Al Dehail said, "Our partnership with Dubai Trade is in line with our strategy to provide our clients with electronic and smart services that save time and effort. This step is a turning point in the way we can cater for our customers with all transactions available electronically, and supports our direction toward smart transformation, enhancing Dubai’s mission to be the smartest city globally. With Rosoom, our clients can complete their transactions at their own convenience, anywhere, anytime. This will allow them to focus more on their business needs rather than the routine procedures involved with payment transactions." |
