 The government imposes strict control on prices on public markets, Prime Minister Sherif Ismail asserted.
The Egyptian citizen could play a key role in controlling market prices through reporting any price manipulation, Ismail said. Speaking from the Investment Ministry’s headquarters, the Premier said the government depends on the correct mechanisms to adjust markets and provide commodities for citizens at affordable prices. Operations’ rooms and hotlines were established to deal with citizens’ complaints on any price manipulation, Ismail stressed, saying the government had set up outlets to sell goods at suitable prices |
