 The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) indexes showed mixed performance at the close trading amid purchase operations from foreign institutions and investors.
The market capital gained about EGP 4.5 billion to reach 602.8 billion pounds, after transactions hit EGP 1.1 billion. The EGX 30 benchmark index rose by 1.09 percent to close at 12,425.17 points. The broader EGX 70 index of the leading smaller and mid cap enterprises (SME) slightly decreased by 0.02 percent to stand at 464.74 points. The all-embracing EGX 100 index increased by 0.56 percent to reach 1,105.56 points. |
