 Head of the General Authority for Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZone) Ahmed Darwish starts a four-day visit to Germany during which he will meet with senior German officials and businessmen to attract investments to Egypt.
Egyptian Ambassador to Germany Badr Abdel Aati said that the visit comes within efforts to boost relations with Germany, especially after President Abdel Fattah El Sisi’s visit to Berlin in 2015. Germany is one of the most important industrial countries in the world, Abdel Aati said, adding that it is also the most important economy in Europe and the fourth in the world.Darwish is planned to meet with senior officials in the economy and energy ministries along with businessmen and the head of the German-Arab Chamber of Commerce and Industry. He will also meet with the foreign ministry undersecretary, the head of the German industrial union for small and medium sized enterprises and a delegation from a German company working in manufacturing cars. |
