The Finance Ministry auctioned treasury bills at a total value of 11.5 billion pounds.
In an online statement, the ministry said it sold six billion pounds of 91-day T-bills. The average yield was 19.017 percent, it said, adding it accepted bids at rates between 19.058 and 18 percent.. As for the 266-day T-bills, they were sold for 5.5 billion pounds and achieved average revenue of 20.191 percent, the ministry said, adding it accepted bids at rates between 20.24 and 19.25 percent.. The Central Bank of Egypt auctions T-bills and T-bonds on behalf of the Finance Ministry. |
