 President Abdel Fattah El Sisi said that drawing up a strategic vision for the investment will maximize investment opportunities with high economic feasibility and provide new jobs.
Speaking at the third meeting of the Supreme Council of Investment, President Sisi demanded that Egypt's investment map would include the national projects, the new cities, the Suez Canal Economic Zone and the joint ventures with the private sector. The prime minister, the governor of the Central Bank of Egypt and the ministers of defense, military production, justice, interior, finance and investment were present at the meeting. The meeting took up the progress in carrying out decisions issued by the previous meeting that was held onDecember 4. The investment minister pointed out that a new investment law was approved by the cabinet and sent to the State Council. The law will be sent to the parliament for ratification , the minister said. The CBE governor presented a proposal to establish the national council for payments that aims at transforming to the moneyless economy. |
