 Transport Minister Galal Saaed has a meeting with Chairman of the River Transport Authority Reda Ismail and Director of the National Institute of Transport (NIT) Moustafa Abu Hashima to discuss supplying 50 ferryboats to 18 governorates along the River Nile
During the Council of Governors' meeting on January 10, the transport minister reviewed the feasibility study of the project that will involve the operation of ferries to carry passengers and cars in 18 waterside governorates. The transport ministry had finalized designs for ferries depending on the length of the route and with a total capacity of 50-100 passengers and five vehicles. The ferries will be constructed in the workshops of the Suez Canal Authority and the Arab Contractors. |
