Prime Minister Sherif Ismail chaired a meeting of the Supreme Energy Council.
During the meeting, a request by the National Company for Fertilizers and Chemicals to get a share of natural gas for the operation of an ammonia production line at a capacity of 270,000 m3 per day was approved. The participants in the meeting approved in principle a request by the Beshay Steel group to expand its factory's activities in Sadat city. The Supreme Energy Council groups ministers of planning, housing, electricity, environment, military production, international cooperation, petroleum products, trade and industry, transport, finance, tourism and investment. |
